Research Phase
In the research phase of our project, Skills Cloud was instrumental in analyzing specific needs and gaps in cloud computing. The primary goal was to integrate upskilling competencies for VET providers and enhance the transferability of these skills to VET learners across Germany, Turkey, Greece, Italy, and Ireland. A comprehensive gap analysis was conducted, utilizing desk research to identify best practices (4 from each country), surveys targeting VET providers and learners, and focus groups involving stakeholders to gather qualitative insights. These diverse methods ensured a thorough exploration of the cloud computing sector in each country, forming the basis for tailoring educational resources to address region-specific challenges.

Training scheme and assessment model
Our project introduces a comprehensive Training Scheme and assessment model aimed at integrating qualifications and skills in the dynamic field of cloud computing, aligning with the European Qualifications Framework (EQF) to ensure international relevance. This initiative is the inaugural output of our collaborative effort, providing a thorough exploration of the cloud computing and ICT sectors in partner countries through a research report. The Training Scheme serves as a pioneering resource, equipping VET providers with the knowledge to expand their training offerings, precisely tailored to meet the evolving needs of the professional landscape. By identifying knowledge gaps within the labor market for ICT skills, our model strategically addresses these shortcomings, fostering a more effective and targeted approach to vocational education and training in the cloud computing domain.
